Which events do you think are the most important. Choose 8-10. Make sure you include the beginning and end of the Norman rule.

Look at the first and last date and think about how many years your timeline will cover. Think about how many years each centimetre will be worth. Think about how you can organise your events so they will fit best on the timeline. Some will need to go above the line and some below.
