Using the OneDrive App for Scanning and sharing files

Scanning and using the Camera in OneDrive

As part of the OneDrive app in every folder there is the camera icon. This means that you can scan a document, an image or take a photo. They will then automatically appear in your OneDrive.

The advantage of taking a photo from within OneDrive is that it WIL NOT APPEAR IN YOUR CAMERA ROLL and will not take up any storage. Very useful for the students.

You can also scan more than one page to appear in the same file. You can name it and check that it is saved o the right place.

Once on OneDrive the students can log onto the computer and access the images and print if you would want to do so or add them to a file very easily using the snipping tool.

How to....

1. Make sure you have the OneDrive app and you are signed into this with your school email.

2. Either create a Folder or go to one you want the scanned files to be saved or the image to bb.

3. Click on the camera icon.

4. You will then be presented with 3 options on the right hand side.

Camera Documents, Whiteboard and Photo.

5. Choose the option you want.

6. If you are scanning documents there is the option to add scan more to one file.
